Executive Summary The focus of this research paper is to demonstrate the need for project management, identify the current and future trends within project management around the world, and discuss the effects of cultural differences on project management. Project management was first used in civil engineering and architecture projects but it soon spread to other industries such as the automobile and communication industries.
